Dr. Apt. Update

Yes it's true I am still pregnant. I will be 40 weeks this Sunday.

I had my (hope to be last) doctors appointment today.

All I wanted to hear was good news that I had progressed. I wanted to hear numbers like you are dilated to a 4 and you are 90% effaced but that is a little unrealistic so realistically I heard these numbers. I am dilated to a 3 and 75% effaced! I am so close to being a 4! You aren't able to have your epidural until you are dilated to a 4 so the closer I get the more excited I am because once I go into labor I am going to want it. 

Now this is great news to me because my sister Christiann was dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced when she went into labor with Kaylee.

So really any DAY NOW!

I have been having a lot of contractions and I just keep hoping they would get worse and stay longer.

(I know it's crazy to me too that I want to start feeling pain). I have been doing lots of walking and eating Mexican food to see if I will go into labor that night. But it's mostly false ugh!

But like Kaysie told me Teyven is already having me learn patience and he's not even here yet.

In the mean while my mom and I are enjoying the shopping around St. George and eating at yummy restaurants. I am loving and enjoying this vacation with my mom and I think is good for me to be enjoying this because soon life will be so different with a new baby.

I really do hope to soon update you on baby Teyven. I am so excited to meet him face to face and to have my husband back with me. I told Moroni he couldn't come back down until I go into labor because when he leaves to go back to Ely I want to go back with him and of course with Teyven. I am too emotional right now to feel like I am being left behind. This is another reason why I can't wait to go into labor I want to see my HUSBAND!

On another EXCITING note. Monday the 9th Noe and Caroline (Moroni's oldest brother and his wife) welcomed their baby boy Nikolas to the world. He weighed in at 8 lbs and 3 oz and 20 inches long. He is a good size healthy baby boy and I'm so excited they had a boy so Teyven will have a boy cousin to play with so close in age to him. Noe and Caroline didn't find out what they were having until she delivered him. Congrats Noe and Caroline and I can't wait to meet you Nikolas.
